The AQUAPHOR MAXFOR+ Mg replacement cartridge provides universal protection against common impurities in tap water. MAXFOR+ Mg contains patented AQUALEN ion-exchange microfiber, which has a surface area 33 times larger than that of traditional ion-exchange sorbents. The filtering matrix, consisting of carbon and microfiber, provides the most effective water purification possible. AQUALEN irreversibly binds the ions of heavy metals such as lead, iron, and mercury.
