The AQUAPHOR MAXFOR+ Mg replacement cartridge provides universal protection against common impurities in tap water. It significantly improves the taste and odor of the water, and also reduces the amount of scale. The cartridge effectively removes chlorine, heavy metals, iron, pesticides, organic compounds, hardness salts, and other contaminants.
MAXFOR+ Mg contains patented AQUALEN ion-exchange microfiber, which has a surface area 33 times larger than that of traditional ion-exchange sorbents. The filtering matrix, consisting of carbon and microfiber, provides the most effective water purification possible. AQUALEN irreversibly binds the ions of heavy metals such as lead, iron, and mercury.
The shape of the MAXFOR+ Mg cartridge is universal, and it can be used in water filter pitchers from other manufacturers from the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the USA.
